Spanning the width of the state, the Florida Coast to Coast Trail takes users from the Gulf of Mexico to the Atlantic Ocean and links communities from St. Petersburg to Titusville. Though work on this paved multi-use trail is ongoing, it is currently 88 percent complete and incorporates all or parts of several established trails across the state.

Difficulty: Beginner to advanced, depending on the duration of the trip.
Terrain: Flat, paved surface with some moderately hilly sections.
Features: Waterfront views of Lake Minneola in Clermont, wildlife viewing opportunities, bridges and tunnels including the Pinellas Trail overpass bridge, West Orange Trail bridge over the Florida Turnpike, and Seminole Wekiva trail underpass.
Points of interest: Canaveral National Seashore, Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge, Oakland Nature Preserve, Lake Hiawatha Preserve, Brooker Creek Preserve, Honeymoon Island State Park, Caladesi Island State Park. Trail towns that offer shopping, dining, and lodging include: Brooksville, Dunedin, Clermont, Winter Garden, DeBary, and Titusville.
Best time of year to visit: October through April for cooler temperatures.
