Water skiing is the main sport in Winter Haven – the town is amid dozens of small lakes. Winter Haven is also home of Cypress Gardens theme park.

The Polk County city of Winter Haven is the home of Cypress Gardens, Florida’s first theme park, made famous by its Dick Pope water ski shows. Known as the “Chain of Lakes City”, Winter Haven is also home to many water and barefoot ski schools.
