Florida's main international gateways of Tampa, Miami and Orlando are complemented by major airports in Fort Lauderdale, Sarasota, West Palm Beach, Jacksonville, Fort Myers and Pensacola, among others. From its earliest days, Florida has been a hub for airline and aircraft training, both civilian and military.
