6th Annual Wine & Food Festival at The Shores

What could be better than an entire weekend of food, drink and fun? From June 25 to June 28, The Shores Resort and Spa in Daytona Beach will be hosting their 6th Annual Wine & Food Festival, which will feature special events each day. On Friday, June 27 from 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Meet Joe Maloney, Red Winemaker for Chateau Ste. Michelle, in the lobby and sample pourings paired with butler-style passed hors d’ouevres. There will be live entertainment. Continue the evening in Azure Bar with featured Wines at special by the glass wine pricing.  $30.00 per person (inclusive).
 
A Pairing Luncheon will take place on Saturday, June 28, from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. ( $70.00 per person) featuring Merryvale Wines with Ben Frick, Southeastern Executive Sales Manager for Merryvale Winery. Wine enthusiasts have the opportunity to discover the perfect wine not only to match their personal palettes, but also to best compliment a special five-course meal with wine pairings.
 
On Friday evening, The Grand Tasting event will begin at 7:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. ($95) and will feature over 150 wines from California, Oregon, Washington, Spain, Italy, France, Australia, New Zealand and Portugal paired with decadent food and music to match. Jed Steele of Steel Winery will also be present and pouring. Ciroc Vodka will also be featured with flavored martinis and food parings. Continue the indulgence at the 1st Bubble & Stars 8 p.m. – midnight, sponsored by Piper-Heidsieck Champagne located on the Ocean Terrace, hosting an assortment of decadent desserts and cordials and accompanied with exquisite Champagne.
 
A silent auction and art exhibit featuring works by Tyler Ann Blanton and Kevin Harrison will also be available. Rooms only starting at $149.00 plus $15 Resort Fee, an All Inclusive Package including luxurious accommodations, resort fee, two tickets to the Grand Tasting, and valet parking is offered at $339.
