Hola: Hollywood is recognized by Fodor's Magazine as one of the "Best Beaches for Families" in the United States. I believe part of this reason is all the wonderful activities that take place on a monthly basis in this "all-American" city:
- Broadwalk Friday Fest - a truly unique oceanside cultural arts performance series at the Hollywood Beach Theater is one event that cannot be missed, if you are planning a trip to South Florida. It takes place twice a month: every second and fourth Friday. In addition to the Friday Fest festivities, you can enjoy a lively walk on the Broadwalk and check out the charming boutiques and delicious dining opportunities. Takes place 7 to 10 p.m.
- Classic Cruise Night - Time to turn back time and admire the beauty of pre-1978 cars lined up along Hollywood's Broadwalk the fourth Friday of the month along with the live entertainment of Friday Fest. Takes place from 6 to 10 p.m.
- Downtown Hollywood ArtWalk - The Historic Downtown District in Hollywood comes alive during this outdoor event offering art exhibits, live music and complimentary refreshments at the amazing art galleries. This event takes place every third Saturday from 7 to 10 p.m.
- Funtastic Fridays for Kids - Kids of all ages are invited to participate in this event which features funny clowns, face painting, bounce houses, balloon twisting, family game shows, bingo, themed arts and crafts and karaoke! Plus, kids eat free on Friday at participating downtown eateries.
