2009 ANNIKA Invitational
January 15, 2009

A unique girls' junior event begins play tomorrow at the Ginn Reunion Resort near Orlando.

Recently retired LPGA Hall of Famer Annika Sorenstam is hosting the 1st annual Annika Invitational. This first-time event has drawn a great international field of top-ranked junior girls all of whom would love to have their name on the trophy first.

Congrats to the recently married Annika on giving back so much so soon. It would have been real easy for her to enjoy her new spouse and retirement for a little longer. However if the past is any indication, then each thing Annika lends her name to will surely  be a success due to her personal involvement and dedication.
