| Top Golf Teacher Mike Bender Opens new Golf Academy at Stoneybrook East GC |

A new Mike Bender Golf Academy will celebrate its grand opening on March 29th from 1 – 3PM at the Stoneybrook East Golf Club.
Bender has recently been selected as one of the top ten golf instructors in America by Golf Digest magazine. Located near the University of Central Florida campus in northeast Orlando this will be the third Mike Bender Golf Academy in central Florida. Mike will be on hand with his Director of Instruction, Jered Gusso, to conduct swing evaluations and a free golf clinic as well as demo golf equipment. The general public is invited to attend.
The original location of the Mike Bender Golf Academy is at Timacuan Golf Club in Lake Mary with the second location at Stoneybrook West GC in Winter Garden – just west of Orlando.
Bender has gained national recognition since his top student Zach Johnson won the 2007 Masters tournament. Other noted Bender students are two time U.S. Open Champion Lee Janzen and PGA Tour players Skip Kendall and Steve Pate. Mike also teaches players on the LPGA Tour such as 2006 Rookie of the Year Seon Hwa Lee and Vicky Goetz.
