As I embark on a new chapter in my life, I am leaving my position here at VISIT FLORIDA.

 

The journey to travel with my family around the beautiful state where I grew up has been an incredible gift.  Thanks to VISIT FLORIDA, we have made so many wonderful memories.

 

From “Scooby-Diving” at the Florida Aquarium (as Brandon put it so eloquently)  to shark-tooth collecting on Amelia Island and watching the Space Shuttle launch we have had opportunities of a lifetime.

 

I hope that you have been inspired to take your own families on Florida adventures through reading about our travels here.  The information will continue to flow - only from our new Family Expert’s page. 

 

Jill Martin will be filling my flip flops and taking her family along on her new fun-packed adventure.

 

Not only do we have the same initials – as Jill pointed out  – but we both have two sons.

 

She’s a Miami-native who started writing for the travel industry back in 1996 at Interval International.  She has worked for the cruise industry for almost 13 years.

 

I am sure that you will love reading about her family’s travels. Each mother has tips and “tricks of the trade” to share.  We are so fortunate to have this virtual community to share our travel tips.
