Go on Safari with Jack Hanna at Busch Gardens!
November 01, 2009
Busch Gardens has a special invitation for you and your family. You’re invited to join Jack Hanna (the internationally known animal expert) for an unforgettable Serengeti Night Safari on Nov. 13 and 14, 2009, at Busch Gardens in Tampa. In addition to this amazing adventure, he’ll make a special appearance at a family sleepover on Nov. 13, he’ll join guests for breakfast on Nov. 14 and 15, and will put on a special show to share animal facts and his travel tales on Nov. 14 and 15.

Here is the schedule for this extraordinary weekend:

Serengeti Night Safari Featuring Jack Hanna
6:30 to 9 p.m. Nov. 13
7:30 to 10 p.m. Nov. 14
Your evening starts with tasty treats in the exclusive Adventure Club before heading out for your special night. Then, you’ll take a two-hour safari through the nighttime wilds of Africa with Jack himself. You’ll learn about hippos, lions and hyenas before you move on to the Serengeti Plain where you’ll use special night-vision glasses to view the animals. And it just keeps getting better. Then, you’ll gather around a roaring fire, where Hanna will share tales of his real-life African adventures. The cost is $60 per person, with a discount available for Passport members. The tour is for ages 5 and older. Busch Gardens’ admission is not required or included.

Family Sleepover Featuring Jack Hanna
Nov. 13 and 14, 6 p.m. to 9 a.m.
A sleepover with Jack Hanna? You bet! You’ll enjoy a night of family fun at Busch Gardens complete with behind-the-scenes access, interactive activities and an animal adventure hosted by Jack Hanna. You’ll spend the night in Busch Gardens’ Mzinga Lounge (which is a secure on-site dormitory). In the morning, wake up to meet tigers in Jungala and feast on a continental breakfast. Dinner, a T-shirt and water bottle are included. Please note that this sleepover is designed for families with elementary school-age children, and the cost is $78 per person, or $68 for Passport members.
