Spot Me ID for Kid Fun & Parent Peace of Mind
June 20, 2009
As all of us parents gear up for summer fun with our kids at amusement parks, water parks, zoos and other attractions, I’m excited to tell you about a new product I’ve found – Spot Me ID. It’s a new line of ID bracelets, lanyards and temporary tattoos (my favorite!) that can help you reunite with your children if they wander off.

Spot Me ID has a lovable pup as its mascot, Spot Me, the safety dog. On our recent trip to a crowded festival, I placed the temporary tattoo on my 5 year old. (He also wanted to wear the ID bracelet as he really likes the Spot Me puppy.)

The tattoos come in a pack with four tattoos, four application wipes and a travel sized permanent marker. They’re non toxic and will last days (or until you want to take them off)! Devon wore the tattoo on his arm, under his sleeve, and if he got lost, he could show someone his tattoo that had my cell phone number on it. (That’s what the marker is for – add your info right on the tattoo!) Brilliant – and not only that – he learned my cell phone number that afternoon by constantly looking at his cool tattoo.

The lanyards come with a safety breakaway buckle and you can write lots of contact data on the backside. They’re colorful, easy and kids really like to wear them.

Spot Me ID is award-winning too! It was named the winner of the iParenting Media Award, the iParenting Media “Hot” product Award and also The International Association of Amusements Parks and Attractions New Product of the Year Award for 2008. Mom-invented, kid approved, I was so glad to have found Spot Me ID! It’s the best peace of mind for the price. Check it out at spotmeid.com. Stay safe!
