It's the 1st Annual Aqua East Surf Shop National Kidney Foundation Pro-Am Surfing Festival!
It's happening this coming weekend, Thursday, June 26th, 2008 through Sunday, June 29th, in St. Augustine on Florida's northeast coast.
This is the first year that this event is being held in St. Augustine. It's sister event raised over $5 million in Cocoa Beach last year.
The event is being held at the St. Augustine Beachfront Resort, right next to the pier on St. Augustine Beach.
The event starts Thursday with a "meet & mingle," and registration is Friday evening. The surfing begins Saturday morning at 8am. There will be vendors, surfing and skateboarding demos, t-shirt sales, live bands, a bikini contest, and awards ceremonies. Download a detailed schedule of events.
