Wahoo! I knew it was great when I had some , now the whole world knows it is THE BEST clam chowder!
The clam chowder from Tony's Seafood in Cedar Key has been voted the best clam chowder at the 28th annual Schweppes Great Chowder Cook-Off in Newport, Rhode Island. Voting took place last weekend (June 5-6), and it is the best kind of vote - festival goers, folks just like you and me, sampled different chowders. Tony's won! What an honor!
