Share a little sunshine - send a video inviting friends and family to visit Florida and you are automatically entered in the Sunshine Sweepstakes, with 12 weeks of getaways. Week Five, this week, is a three-night getaway to Tallahassee, Florida's Capital City.
Ah, Tallahassee. Every time I go, I find new and wonderful things. This is a great getaway put together by the Tallahassee Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, so send those videos - if you win, you'll stay free at Hotel Duval (up to four people), plus admission for four to the Mary Brogan Museum of Art & Science and Tallahassee Museum, PLUS a $200 dinner credit at Shula's 347 Steakhouse and a happy hour at the Winery@the Red Bar & Tapas Restaurant and more things. The Tallahassee Museum has a new exhibit starting June 15 called "Florida in the Civil War." It will be there until September 15.The Mary Brogan Museum of Art & Science has a new exhibit opening June 13 called "Art on a String: Asian Kites," with beautiful kites from Japan, China, Korea, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam, Pakistan and Afghanistan.
