Forbidden History Exhibit in Fort Myers
June 04, 2009
Consider the possibilities - what if there is a story behind the story of crystal skulls (Indiana Jones thought so) and crop circles and Stonehenge? Well you don't have to leave Florida to explore these mysteries.

Just head for the Southwest Florida Museum of History in Fort Myers and their "Forbidden History Exhibit" continuing through June 20. This is the first time this exhibit has been shown anywhere.

Three of the Travel Channel's top ten places of mystery are represented in the exhibit. Some of the things you will see - a replica of the Art of the Covenant, two cuneiform tablets, artifacts and stories about Stonehenge and the Dead Sea Scrolls and more for a total of 35 different historical anomalies and mysteries. You'll be asking the question "what if?" And that is how all great mysteries begin . . .

The Southwest Florida Museum of History is located inside the former Atlantic Coastline Railroad depot at 2031 Jackson Street, Fort Myers. Hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Adults $9.50, seniors $8.50, children 3-12 pay $5.

Enjoy.
