Date Night at Leu Gardens
June 03, 2009
Friday, June 5 is Date Night at Harry P. Leu Gardens in Orlando. Gardens open at 6 p.m., movie (Roman Holiday) starts at dusk. Bring a blanket or lawn chairs and a dinner picnic basket.

Admission $7 plus tax for adults, $2 plus tax for children. This is a different way to experience the gardens. Leu has 3 miles of paved meandering walkways through all kinds of gardens including the largest formal rose garden in Florida and my personal favorite - a butterfly garden.

The Harry P. Leu Gardens address is 1920 North Forest Avenue, Orlando, phone 407-246-2620. If you miss Date Night and want to experience Leu in the daytime, here's a heads up - on Monday morning from 9 a.m. to noon, admission to Leu is free! Enjoy.
