Lake Louisa State Park has Field Day & Bird Festival
May 06, 2009
Let's get authentic at a Florida State Park- here's an event coming up to do just that - Lake Louisa's sixth annual Field Day & Bird Festival on Saturday, May 16 from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Lake Louisa State Park is in Clermont, just a short distance away from Orlando.

The Field Day & BIrd Festival is a family-friendly event with exhibitors coming from all over Central Florida with information, demonstrations and activities about outdoor recreation, wildlife, native plants and more. This park is great for a nature-friendly event. There are six lakes with Lake Louisa being the largest. Did I mention most of the day's activities take place on Lake Louisa's beach? That's right, a beach!

Park admission fee is $4 for a car with 2-8 occupants, so load up the family car. The park's address is 7305 US Highway 27, Clermont, phone 352-394-3969.

If you like to bike, run and swim then the name Lake Louisa may sound familiar. That is because the Lake Louisa Sprint Triathlon Series takes place here.

Enjoy
