I've got some important news for any art enthusiasts headed down to South Florida this summer. The Wolfsonian-FIU, one of my favorite museums on Miami Beach, has just announced their new summer hours!
Summer Hours:
Mon-Wed: Closed
Thurs: Noon- 9 p.m.
Fri: Noon- 9 p.m.
Sat- Sun: Noon- 6 p.m.
In addition to their stunning permanent collection, curators at the Wolfsonian-FIU have also set up some exciting exhibits worth checking out this summer including "American Streamlined Design: The World of Tomorrow" which pays homage to design aesthetics from the 1930s and 40s, as well as "(LO & BEHOLD) (MIRA & VE)," in honor of Miami's Hispanic heritage.
Check out their website at www.wolfsonian.org for more information on these and other exciting events.
And as always, on Fridays from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. there is free gallery admission for everyone! |
