The Palms West Chamber of Commerce and the Village of Wellington, will help ring in the holidays again this year with its annual holiday parade. This fun-filled, family event is a favorite of the western communities and attracts more than 80 entries each year - from marching bands and trotting horses, to beautiful and creative floats all reflecting the parade theme. More than 35,000 spectators regularly line the parade route along Forest Hill Boulevard, through the Village of Wellington, to cheer on the participants and join in the fun. It is two hours of "magic" in celebration of the holidays to come! Money raised is earmarked for the Palms West Chamber's scholarship fund, benefiting local high school students.
