Fort Mose Historic State will host ranger led Fort Mose programs every Saturday at 11AM. Led by a park ranger, this fun, informative walk is open to the public and groups. We’ll watch a short film on the history of Fort Mose, walk the boardwalk, see the interior and exterior exhibits. Please dress for the weather. The annual holiday event offers a display of beautifully decorated trees and wreaths throughout the St. Johns County Convention Center for visitors to enjoy and vote for their favorites by way of $1 minimum donations. The entries are also part of a silent auction throughout the event. Proceeds from the festive holiday event go to benefit two St. Johns County Charities - The United Way of St. Johns County and The Empty Stocking Fund. Admission to the event is free. We covered some of the parties at Pensacola Beach Memorial Day weekend 2009. The parties took place at CRABS-We Got 'Em and Flounder's Chowder House on the beach as Gay Pride weekend kicked off despite the thunder storms. MTV was there providing entertainment and if you missed coming this year, don't make the same mistake in 2010, it was a blast. The staff at CRABS and Flounders were very friendly and did an outstanding job despite the huge crowds and we will definitely be there again next year.
