Family Beach Walks Every Monday 9 a.m. Free Every Monday the Shell Museum and “Ding” Darling NWR will host a Family Beach Walk. Participants will meet at 9 a.m. at the Gulfside Park/Algiers parking lot. The walk will be led by one of the Museum’s Shell Experts and a “Ding” Darling Refuge Specialist. The entire family will join in the discovery of the wonderful world of mollusks, the shells they produce and the environment that serves as their home. There is no charge for this program. Read Less

Mommy & Me Play Dates Every Friday 9 a.m. Free The Museum is partnering with J.N. “Ding” Darling National Wildlife Refuge to sponsor a “Mommy and Me, Under The Sea” program. Preschool aged children and their caregivers will enjoy an hour of storytelling, music and a special activity involving the sea. Participants will meet at the Shell Museum on June 6th and 20, July 18, and August 1, 15 and 29. On June 13 and 27, July 11 and 25 and August 8 and 22 families will meet at the “Ding” Darling National Wildlife Refuge. There is no charge for the program. Read Less
