Mid-way through the Florida Keys, Marathon is the launching point for the famed Seven Mile Bridge, one of the country’s most scenic drives. Fishermen here to reel in tarpon, sailfish, dolphin and other game fish might outnumber families, but the island welcomes all ages, with resorts, a hands-on museum and nature center and parks that cater to children.
